Week 1: Spiders and waterfalls
Welcome to my first devlog! I'm hoping to update on each week's progress every Sunday. This week I haven't made much progress on the coding side of things, other than finally fixing a bug with the tab targeting so it works correctly and implementing the mini map. The bulk of this week's work has instead been on building out and optimising different sections of the map as as I can start to get a feel for how I want the full playable world to look.
So far I've added in a spider infested forest with a cave and built out the surrounding cliffs with a waterfall and nearby ruins. Both can be seen below:

Next week I plan on finally starting the inventory system as I've been putting it off for the last couple of weeks - There is quite a bit of behind the scenes code which needs adding so it's been "easier" to add smaller things or fix bugs, rather than tackling it. But I need to get started on it now so hopefully should have the start of a working inventory system to show next week!
